My mission: natural results that transform lives
Two decades dedicated to the art of natural rejuvenation
When I chose to pursue plastic surgery, it was not just a career decision — it was the continuation of a story that began before me. My father, Dr. Walter Zamarian, was one of the pioneers of the specialty in northern Paraná. I grew up seeing patients transform not only their appearance but their confidence. This experience shaped my vision of what plastic surgery can be: a tool for balance between body and mind.
Today, after more than 8,000 procedures and two decades of practice, I keep this same purpose alive. I serve patients from all over Brazil and abroad, always with the commitment to deliver results that honor the identity of each person.

I was born in Cornélio Procópio, in the interior of Paraná. At just two years old, I moved to Rio de Janeiro — my father was completing his specialization with the legendary Professor Ivo Pitanguy. Although I was too young to understand, that period planted a seed. Years later, when it was my turn to choose a specialty, the path seemed natural.
I graduated in Medicine from UEL and completed my residency in General Surgery at the same institution. But the real transformation came when I was accepted at the Ivo Pitanguy Clinic and in the 38th Ward of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Rio de Janeiro, through PUC-RIO. Three years immersed in the school that trained the greatest names in Brazilian plastic surgery.
Professor Pitanguy did not just teach technique. He conveyed a philosophy: every face tells a story, and the surgeon must know how to read it before modifying it. I carry this teaching in every consultation.
The pursuit of improvement never ends
The training in Rio was solid, but insufficient for those seeking excellence. Over the years, I traveled repeatedly to the United States to train with surgeons who are redefining the standards of the specialty:
- I learned the nuances of deep facial rejuvenation with specialists who abandoned the superficial techniques of the 90s
- I mastered female intimate surgery directly with Dr. Gary Alter, in Los Angeles — the doctor who created the Wedge technique, now considered the gold standard worldwide for labiaplasty
- I deepened my knowledge in functional rhinoplasty, integrating aesthetics and breathing into a single approach
This combination — Brazilian technical rigor with American innovation — allows me to offer procedures that many surgeons simply do not perform.
What sets me apart: the regenerative approach
Over time, I realized that the best results in facial rejuvenation do not come from "stretching" the skin, but from restoring what time has taken away. This perception completely changed my practice.
The science behind fat grafting
When I transplant fat from the patient's own body to the face, I am not just filling in grooves. Human fat is rich in mesenchymal stem cells — cells with scientifically proven regenerative capacity. They stimulate collagen production, improve vascularization, and literally rejuvenate the surrounding tissues.
Patients often report that their skin "wakes up" — it becomes firmer, more radiant, with visibly improved texture. This is not imagination: it is biology. And that is why I consider fat grafting the most important component of my work in facial rejuvenation.
Face and neck as a unit
Another principle I advocate: it makes no sense to rejuvenate the face while ignoring the neck. Aging does not respect anatomical boundaries. Therefore, when appropriate, I combine facial work with neck correction in a single surgical session. The result is a natural transition, without that "break" between a youthful face and an aged neck.
Rhinoplasty: when less trauma means better results
Rhinoplasty has always been one of the most challenging procedures in plastic surgery. Many patients come to the office with fear — they have heard stories of prolonged swelling, intense bruising, weeks of discomfort.
I developed a different approach. I use controlled micro-perforations instead of traditional bone fractures. The bone is reshaped with millimeter precision, but without the trauma that causes excessive edema. Patients often ask me, just a few days after surgery: "Was I supposed to feel this good?"
But reducing trauma does not mean reducing ambition. My rhinoplasty is comprehensive: I address the dorsum, the tip, the base, and — when necessary — the septum and turbinates. The goal is a nose that is beautiful and breathes well. One cannot exist without the other.
Intimate surgery: a topic that deserves seriousness
Female intimate surgery is still surrounded by taboos. Many women suffer in silence with physical discomfort or aesthetic concerns, not knowing that there are safe and effective solutions.
I was one of the first Brazilian surgeons to train directly with Dr. Gary Alter, a world-renowned expert in the field. I am proficient in all modalities: labiaplasty (reduction of the labia minora), labia majora reduction, correction of asymmetries, and clitoral procedures. Each case requires a personalized approach — there is no "one technique" that fits all.
I treat this topic with the same seriousness and technical rigor that I dedicate to the face. Because every patient deserves to feel comfortable in their own body.
Beyond borders: fluency in five languages
Since adolescence, I have cultivated a fascination for foreign languages. I studied English, Spanish, French, and Italian — initially out of curiosity, then out of professional necessity. Today, this skill allows me to treat patients from various nationalities without intermediaries.
I regularly receive patients from the United States, Europe, Japan, and Latin American countries who choose Brazil as their medical tourism destination for cosmetic surgery. Direct communication, without translators, makes a difference: I can understand nuances, cultural expectations, specific fears. And the patient feels more secure knowing they will be understood.
For those coming from afar, my team organizes all logistics: hotels near the clinic, transportation, postoperative follow-up. Distance should not be a barrier for those seeking the best. Learn more about scheduling an online consultation as a first step.
Contribution to medicine: the Burn Center of Londrina
Not everything in my journey has been aesthetic surgery. I was one of the founders of the Burn Center of the University Hospital of Londrina, applying the experience I gained during my internship at the Andaraí Hospital in Rio de Janeiro.
Treating severe burns is a completely different job from aesthetic plastic surgery, but it taught me valuable lessons: the importance of meticulous planning, the need to anticipate complications, the value of a well-trained team. These lessons shaped my approach to safety — even in procedures considered "simple".
Hospital structure for maximum safety
I operate at the Hospital do Coração -- Bela Suica Unit, in Brazil. It is a deliberate choice: I prefer the safety of a state-of-the-art facility over the comfort of my own operating room.
What this choice represents in practice:
- ICU available 24 hours — for any emergency, even in procedures considered simple
- Anesthesiologists with specific experience in plastic surgery — professionals who have worked with me for years and know the specifics of each procedure
- Total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) — advanced technique that provides a smoother awakening, less nausea, and faster recovery
- Modern accommodations — comfortable rooms for immediate postoperative care, with continuous monitoring
Safety is not a luxury — it is an obligation. But the facility where one operates makes all the difference in the outcome and the peace of mind of the patient.
