Use of anonymised patient testimonials

Dr. Walter Zamarian Jr.'s clinic uses patient testimonials in anonymised form on its Testimonials page and in the site's JSON-LD schema, relying on the legal basis of legitimate interest (Brazilian LGPD, Art. 7, item IX) and on the processing of anonymised data (Brazilian LGPD, Art. 12). For UK residents, this is equivalent to the UK GDPR lawful basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

The testimonials used do not contain full names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, photos, specific cities or any other direct or indirect identifiers. We only use initials or a first name, an approximate age, and the procedure performed.

Any data subject who provided a testimonial and wishes to request its removal can reach us through our Contact form or via WhatsApp at (43) 99192-2221. Removal requests are handled within a maximum of 15 days, pursuant to Art. 18 of the LGPD.

Testimonials are not used for patient acquisition purposes (in accordance with Brazilian Federal Medical Council Resolution CFM 2.336/2023), only as a record of satisfaction in an educational and informative context.
