Good morning, Dr. Walter. I didn't even have time to thank you for the care you took of me before, during, and after the surgery. Thank you very much for your dedication, effort, and patience with me. In short, I wanted to say that you did a great job. I am recovering very well and becoming happier every day with the result. For me, it was not just a physical change but it greatly elevated my self-esteem, which is very good for our ego. Congratulations on your work and for being the doctor you are. It's no wonder that everywhere I go (cardiologist, physiotherapist, Modeller, etc.) everyone praises you and says I was in good hands. May God continue to guide your hands as well as He has done until today, and may He continue to guide you too. Have a good Sunday, see you on our return. A hug.
Today I feel very happy to have met Dr. Walter Zamarian. I will share a bit of my life; at 18, I got my first silicone implant because I had no breasts at all, and at 25, I decided to get another implant. That's when the problem started; I had surgery with a doctor from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, and had issues. She told me I had capsular contracture and that the problem was my body rejecting a foreign body, which was fine until two years later when I had to replace it because I felt a lot of pain and discomfort. Now with the third implant: I had the surgery but again had this problem according to her. It was obvious and palpable; what an embarrassment, I was desperate because I talked to her and she told me I would have to go without the implant. But God is very good because He gave me a light, which was Dr. Walter. I watched his videos, and from here in Rio, I said I would go to Londrina because I would have this surgery with this doctor. In the videos, he gives you a sense of security, and at that moment, it was exactly what I needed. I went to the consultation and fortunately met this surgeon who is truly a great professional. I did the tests he requested, and with great calmness, he told me to relax, my breasts would look beautiful, and then I breathed a sigh of relief. I traveled with my husband to have the surgery on December 20, 2012, and I am great; my breasts are truly beautiful. I decided to write this story because you may have a problem and not know who to turn to. I can’t express how happy I am. When you think about having surgery, you can be sure you will be in the right hands. Thank you very much, Dr. Walter Zamarian; may God always be with you and your family...
I was depressed and very downcast, I had no will to live, I felt old and finished. My husband and daughters constantly told me I was no longer beautiful. I prayed a lot to God to choose a doctor so I could smile again; that’s when I met Dr. Walter Zamarian, who was for me an instrument used by God. He dedicated his time and care to me. I am always grateful for what he did for me. The will to live returned, and I enjoy getting ready. Everyone says I look much younger, and it filled my heart with hope again, as I could feel like a younger woman. The people around me admire me. I no longer take medication for depression or tranquilizers; I am another person, stronger and happier. I feel alive again, thanks to God. I believe I can still improve in other aesthetic aspects, and it would be satisfying to do so with Dr. Walter, as he brings excellent results. If there is anyone in this situation like I was, I have a tip to improve self-esteem and be happier: just meet a dear person, Dr. Zamarian.
Hello, everyone. I would like to share the emotional experience I had. I am the mother of three beautiful children, I am 30 years old, and after three pregnancies, many things changed in my body. I hadn’t worn a bikini for about eight years and didn’t like looking in the mirror. After much thought, I decided to take action and change what bothered me. Then, my friends, the search began for a professional who would look at me and convey confidence and help me decide on the best option. After meeting Dr. Walter Zamarian, my life began to change; upon meeting him, I felt I was in excellent hands and was sure everything would turn out well. We confirmed the date for the plastic surgery and the procedures we would do. What made me happy was when Dr. Walter Zamarian entered the clinic room where the surgery was performed, and then he removed the dressings from my abdomen. Guys, I was so emotional; you have no idea; I looked at Dr. Walter and, feeling emotional, I said, do you know how long it has been since I’ve seen my abdomen like this? He gently replied, you liked it? I loved it! I wish everyone, regardless of whether they are men or women, would choose a professional like the one I had the great pleasure of being operated on; it starts with his secretary Priscila, who always treats you with great kindness, then the whole team that supports Dr. Walter, after the surgery we already have a great professional to take care of those little discomforts like swelling, edema... we can count on the drainage sessions with Bruna, who is also very helpful. In short, today I look in the mirror and like what I see; my husband loves my new look. I hope my words help you decide on a great professional, someone who clears your doubts, conveys confidence, supports you, and does harmonious, natural work. I wish all readers the best and that you do as I did, choose the best, choose Dr. Walter Zamarian.
What can I say about this great doctor and very patient friend? He is certainly an excellent professional, dedicated, attentive, honorable, somewhat of a perfectionist, and performs miracles (both physical and emotional). He is a blessed being, with great knowledge and capability. An important person who deserves tributes because with care, attention, and friendship, he makes his patients happy individuals. May the rays of divine light illuminate your path. Dedication and constant study mark his daily life, which, on several occasions, he sacrifices his time and schedule to always be ready to attend to the most urgent calls (or what his patients consider urgent, right?). Thank you for everything...
Londrina is a city that smiles and welcomes its residents and visitors with open arms. Born from the efforts of pioneers who arrived here in the 1930s, it developed rapidly, becoming the second city in Paraná and the third in the South of the country. It is a hospitable, cheerful city full of life. Several factors contributed to this.
The beginning of its history already showed the potential to develop wealth: Londrina grew under the green gold, our coffee, a culture that propelled the municipality in its early decades of life, even being known as the "Coffee Capital." Coffee gave the city its first achievements and is still remembered as a milestone in its history.
Londrina has always been a city of vision. Even amidst the red earth, when progress was still an aspiration, the pioneers did not neglect basic needs such as education and health, and even in the 1930s and 1940s, Londrina saw the birth of its first schools and hospitals. The Santa Casa opened its doors in 1944, 8 years after the creation of the Santa Casa Brotherhood (established in 1936); the first school in the city was inaugurated on June 26, 1931, even before its emancipation, which would only occur in 1934. It was founded by Germans in the Heimtal district.
This brief history shows the strength that the city acquired since the first pink perobas were cut down, opening clearings where the pioneers began to establish the future city. The first hundreds of residents multiplied and today exceed 500,000. Data from the last census show that 506,000 people live here. A large part of them works in retail – more than 33,000 people. The industry and the service sector (including health) are other strong drivers of this city whose GDP per capita, according to data from the IBGE from 2010, is $3,430 annually.
In the health sector, Londrina is also a highlight and a hub of the region. About 8,000 people work in the medical, dental, and veterinary fields (Source: MTE – RAIS, 2010). Knowledge and investment in the area have a long history. The Medical course began to be offered in Londrina on February 15, 1967, at what was then the Northern Paraná Medical School. In 1970 it would become the UEL, the institution where Dr. Walter Zamarian Jr. studied Medicine and completed his residency in General Surgery. The complement of his training – the study in Plastic Surgery – was done at the School of Professor Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro.
UEL is now a reference in medical education, attracting students from all over Brazil – and even foreigners. Each year, about 80 new doctors graduate from the institution. Residency programs offered at the same location complement the training of new professionals.
Data from the city hall of Londrina indicate that there are 19 hospitals in the city, totaling more than 1,600 beds, a space that receives patients not only from the municipality but from other regions – and even other states – in search of excellence in care. This excellence began with the concern of the pioneers, still in the 1940s.
My plastic surgery clinic is located at Rua Engenheiro Omar Rupp, 186, in Gleba Palhano, in the noble and new area of the city. The hotel closest to my clinic is Comfort Suites, across from Shopping Catuaí.
You can schedule your appointment by contacting my office via WhatsApp at the number +55 43 99192-2221. My team will check the availability of times and confirm the appointment. I also offer online consultations for patients who live outside Londrina or the State of Paraná.
At the first appointment, I recommend bringing your personal documents, recent exams you have, and a list of your questions and expectations regarding the procedure. It is also important to inform me about any medications you are taking, allergies, and pre-existing health conditions. The more information I have, the better I can assess your case and propose the most suitable surgical plan.
I conduct the first appointment to assess your plastic surgery plan and request the necessary exams. Before the surgery, I will see you for a follow-up to evaluate the exam results, take photos, and clarify any remaining questions. This process ensures that everything is perfectly aligned for the day of your surgery.
I recommend at least one week in advance to allow enough time for the essential pre-operative exams and the photos that are used during plastic surgery. However, depending on the procedure and your availability, we can plan further in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly.
I recommend that you be admitted on the day of the surgery, approximately one hour before the scheduled time. Discharge usually occurs the next day, about 24 hours after your surgery. In some minor procedures, discharge may be on the same day, and I evaluate on a case-by-case basis to ensure your safety and comfort.
I operate in several hospitals in Londrina, but for logistical reasons and due to excellent infrastructure, I have performed more than 95% of my surgeries at the Hospital do Coração de Londrina. It is a modern hospital, with state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated nursing team, which contributes to a smoother and safer post-operative experience.
Upon your discharge, I will provide you with a written prescription with all post-operative instructions so that you have the best possible recovery. Additionally, my team will be available to clarify any questions that arise during the recovery period, and I provide my personal cell phone for direct contact.
The first follow-up occurs about two days after your discharge. In this appointment, I assess the initial progress of your recovery, check the dressings, and clarify any questions that may have arisen in the first few days. It is a crucial step to ensure that everything is progressing well.
Yes, I closely monitor my patients throughout their recovery. Follow-ups usually occur one to two days, seven days, fourteen days, three weeks, one month, two months, six months, and one year after surgery. This regular monitoring allows me to track healing and ensure that the results are the best possible.
The before photos are taken during the follow-up between the first appointment and your surgery. The after photos are taken starting two months later, when the results are more evident. These photos are important to document the evolution and final result of the procedure.
I provide my personal cell phone to all the patients I operate on, being available 24 hours a day for your greater safety and peace of mind. I believe that this close follow-up is essential, especially in the first days after surgery, and I make it a point to be accessible for any needs.
Yes, I offer online consultations for patients who live outside Londrina or the State of Paraná. The consultation can be done via Google Meet, FaceTime, Skype, or WhatsApp video, on Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM. After the online consultation, I ask that my patients arrive in Londrina one or two days before the surgery so that I can examine them in person and confirm the surgical plan.
