At a glance: how much does a mini facelift cost?
I don’t perform mini facelifts, so I don’t quote for that operation. “Mini facelift” is a name given to limited operations with a shorter incision; it defines neither a technique nor a price. Comparing prices by name is misleading: what matters is what will be treated. At the consultation, I assess your concern and explain which plan makes sense, including not operating.
- My practice: I do not perform mini neck lifts or temporal mini lifts.
- The name: it means a shorter incision and less undermining, not one specific technique.
- Candidacy: according to the ASPS, it is usually reserved for people with less sagging, with a smaller effect than a full facelift.
- Cost: it depends on what will be treated, not on the name of the operation.
- Consultation: R$ 900, in person in Londrina or online on Saturday mornings.
What this operation can and cannot do is covered on my mini facelift page. Here I deal with the question of price and what it often hides.
What “mini” actually means
“Mini facelift” is the name given to operations with a shorter scar around the ear and less undermining of the skin. It doesn’t refer to one specific technique, and the name doesn’t tell you which layers are treated. The ASPS describes this alternative with shorter incisions and explains that it is usually reserved for patients with less skin laxity, because the result is less rejuvenating than a full facelift [1].
Why I don’t perform mini facelifts
My decision has to do with the patients I see and how much change they are looking for. When the concern involves both the face and the neck, a limited operation can leave an important part of the problem untreated. This does not mean every mini facelift is a poor choice, or that patients treated by other surgeons cannot be satisfied.
“Mini” doesn’t mean cheaper
It is natural to assume that a small change calls for a small operation and a smaller bill. But the size of the change you want and the extent of surgery needed are not the same thing. An operation that doesn’t address the cause of your concern can leave you with the same problem, and a second operation later has its own costs and risks.
What drives the cost of any facelift (the extent of the plan, hospital, anesthesia, follow-up and expenses outside the quote) is explained in how much does a facelift cost. If you are offered a mini facelift, ask:
- Which areas and tissue layers will be treated?
- What is the operation not intended to improve, including in the neck?
- Are the hospital, anesthesia and follow-up included?
- How would a possible revision be assessed and billed?
What I do at the consultation
I ask you to show me what bothers you, without having to pick a technique. I examine the skin, volume and position of the tissues, looking at the face together with the neck, and explain whether a deep plane facelift makes sense for you, what it won’t fix and what it involves. If there is no reason to operate, I tell you that too: a consultation doesn’t commit you to surgery.
Frequently asked questions
Do you perform mini facelifts?
No. I do not perform mini neck lifts or temporal mini lifts.
So you only offer a full facelift?
I offer an assessment. A deep plane facelift is only recommended when it addresses what bothers you; not every concern needs surgery.
How much is the consultation?
R$ 900, in person in Londrina or online on Saturday mornings. A surgical quote only exists once the plan has been defined.
Let’s understand what bothers you
If you were looking for a mini facelift, write to us on WhatsApp: Bruna, my AI assistant, handles the first contact and then puts you in touch with Isanna to arrange a consultation with me, including from abroad. I’ll explain what I see in your face, what I propose and what I don’t recommend.
